Inspired by Joan Miró and Wassily Kandinsky, he began turning brass into living images in 1987.
His works are not only unique, but they also fascinate with an interplay of colours and light. Maybe that's because Albert experienced the changing of the seasons year after year in the heart of New England, where nature plays with the colours of the leaves on the hilly landscape.
Light plays an important role in his artwork. As you move around the picture, the incidence of light reveals different shapes and colours that were not there before. Sometimes - and especially in his work - the abstract impressions are then different that of another viewer.
